Samsung Galaxy S26 FE: Delivering the latest flagship experience, focused on what matters most

Samsung Electronics has announced the Galaxy S26 FE, the newest addition to its Galaxy S26 family and the first model in the lineup to launch with One UI 9.

The company is positioning the phone around a thin, light design and features aimed at photography, video and everyday organization. Jay Kim, Samsung’s executive vice president and head of the Customer Experience Office for its Mobile eXperience business, said the device was “purposefully designed to deliver the signature strengths of the Galaxy S series, ensuring that every feature makes a meaningful difference in users’ daily lives.”

The Galaxy S26 FE includes an enhanced triple rear camera with updated image processing, 3x optical zoom and a 12-megapixel front camera. Samsung’s Nightography feature is designed to produce brighter, clearer low-light images while preserving detail.

The phone also brings My FanCam, which automatically tracks a selected person and keeps them centered in video. Super Steady with Horizontal Lock is intended to produce smoother, more level footage during fast-moving activities, travel and everyday filming.

Samsung said Photo Assist lets users refine images with natural-language prompts, including changing the apparent time of day, adding elements or restoring missing parts. Gemini Omni can create and edit video clips from photos and videos stored in the Gallery. The company also highlighted updated Now Brief and other context-aware Galaxy AI features powered by One UI 9.
