San Miguel hosts free World Cup sticker exchange event with prizes

San Miguel will transform into a hub for football passion and collecting this Saturday, June 6, with the "World Cup Exchange" event. This free initiative, organized by the Municipality of San Miguel through its San Miguel Joven program, invites young people, neighbors, and football enthusiasts to a day dedicated to trading stickers for the 2026 World Cup album.

The event is scheduled to take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Boulevard Mantaro, located behind Plaza San Miguel. The goal is to turn this public space into a vibrant meeting point where attendees can complete their World Cup sticker albums and share an experience fueled by football fever.

During the "World Cup Exchange," participants can freely swap stickers, test their knowledge in World Cup-themed trivia, and enter prize drawings for albums and collectible packs. The event will also include special activations with allied brands such as Little Caesars, Tai Loy, and KreaIdeas, featuring a prize wheel, food tastings, and merchandise giveaways.

Fergie Aliaga, spokesperson for the Youth Department and coordinator of the activity, stated, "We want young people to feel that there are also spaces designed for them within the district. The idea is to create dynamic, current activities that truly connect with their interests." The event also serves to promote the broader offerings of San Miguel Joven at the Casa de la Juventud, which provides workshops and programs focused on personal development and youth integration.
