Sanxing Gas Station Warehouse Fire Controlled Within 20 Minutes

Thick smoke billowed from a warehouse behind a gas station in Sanxing, Yilan County, on Friday morning, causing concern among local residents. The Yilan County Fire Bureau received the report at 8:25 a.m. and immediately dispatched units from Sanxing, Dongshan, Yuan Shan, Guangxing, and Luodong to the scene.

Firefighters arrived to find that the fire had not originated from the gas station's main structure. Instead, smoke was seen emerging from a warehouse on the second floor of an adjacent office building. The blaze was caused by smoldering items stored within the warehouse, leading to the emission of white smoke.

Crews quickly deployed hoses and worked to extinguish the flames. The fire was brought under control by 8:48 a.m., less than 20 minutes after the initial report. Fortunately, the fire did not spread to the gas station facilities. The detailed cause of the fire and the extent of property damage are currently under investigation by the fire department's arson investigators.
