Saudi anti-concealment program uncovers 104 suspected violations in June

Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to combat commercial concealment have led to the identification of 104 suspected violations during June. The National Program to Combat Commercial Concealment carried out more than 4,500 inspection visits across the Kingdom as part of its mandate.

These targeted inspections were initiated based on intelligence indicators and reports of suspicion concerning potential breaches of the Anti-Commercial Concealment Law. The program focused on ensuring compliance within various commercial establishments and detecting offenses.

Sectors under scrutiny included land freight transport, the construction of non-residential buildings like schools and hospitals, retail sales of electronics and precious metals, and general warehousing. The suspected cases have been forwarded to the appropriate authorities for thorough investigation and the imposition of legal penalties should violations be confirmed.

The crackdown aims to foster a fairer business environment by preventing illicit practices that distort market competition. The program's activities underscore the government's commitment to regulatory oversight and economic integrity.
