Saudi club to improve Ndidi offer

Saudi Arabian club Al Diriyah is reportedly preparing a more substantial offer to acquire Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi from Turkish club Besiktas. The Saudi team is keen to strengthen their midfield and is determined to secure Ndidi's signature during the current summer transfer window.

Besiktas had previously rejected an initial bid of €7 million from Al Diriyah for the Super Eagles captain. According to Turkish sports daily Fanatik, Al Diriyah plans to return with a higher offer to convince the Istanbul club to sell.

Since joining Besiktas from Leicester City last summer, Ndidi has established himself as a key player. His experience, leadership, and defensive capabilities have made him an integral part of the squad. He recently demonstrated his importance by providing the assist for Semih Kilicsoy's decisive goal in a 1-0 UEFA Conference League qualifier victory.

Ndidi's consistent performances have attracted interest from various clubs, fueling speculation about a potential move to Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, Besiktas appears to be anticipating Ndidi's departure and is reportedly in talks to sign Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie on a free transfer.
