Saudi foreign minister discusses regional developments and de-escalation with Iranian and Pakistani counterparts

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held separate phone calls with his Iranian and Pakistani counterparts as efforts continued to contain the region's ongoing crisis.

In a call on Sunday, Faisal and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi reviewed the latest regional developments and efforts to maintain security and stability. The Saudi minister then spoke with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

The discussion with Dar also covered the fraternal bilateral relationship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. The two sides reviewed regional developments in light of the crisis and discussed ways to contain it.

They focused on advancing peaceful solutions through dialogue and negotiation, with the stated aim of de-escalating tensions and safeguarding the region's security and stability.
