Saudi Interior Minister Opens Security and History Dialogue 2026 in Riyadh

A three-day conference examining nearly three centuries of Saudi security opened in Riyadh on Sunday, bringing together more than 160 speakers for discussions on the relationship between security, development and prosperity.

Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif inaugurated the Security and History Dialogue 2026 at the Cultural Palace in the Diplomatic Quarter. The Ministry of Interior organized the event under the theme “Our History and Our Future: Security and Development.”

The program includes more than 65 panel discussions and interactive sessions, as well as an exhibition documenting the evolution of security throughout the history of the Saudi state.

Ahmed Al-Tuwaiyan, the conference’s general supervisor, described the dialogue as a national platform bringing together experts and specialists from Saudi Arabia and abroad. He said they would examine the Kingdom’s history through the interconnected paths of security and development.
