Savannah Guthrie renews plea for answers in mother’s disappearance: ‘Do the right thing’

Savannah Guthrie, host of NBC's Today show, has made a public appeal for information regarding her mother's disappearance. In a recent Instagram video, Guthrie expressed the family's ongoing agony and pleaded for those responsible to "do the right thing" and reveal her mother's location.

It has been months since our mom was taken from us. Our family is in agony. We are in a nightmare that will not end. Nothing about our situation has changed. We have done our part. We will never stop looking for her.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reported missing from her Tucson, Arizona, home on February 1. Authorities suspect abduction, with evidence including drops of blood found on the porch and a DNA-laden glove discovered nearby. However, the glove was later disqualified as evidence.

We will always ache for her and feel that hole in our hearts. The world can be a cruel and unforgiving place, and I know that you have tried to do things the right way. So I’m asking you, begging you, to do the right thing now.

Guthrie emphasized the family's persistent search and their deep emotional pain, stating, "We are in agony. We are in agony. It is unbearable." She believes it is never too late to act justly and urged for the situation to be brought to a close.

Make the right choice. Help us find her. Tell us where to look for her.

The FBI is also seeking a man of average build, approximately 5ft 9in to 5ft 10in tall, and has offered an additional $100,000 reward. As of Monday, no arrests had been made in the case.

I truly believe it is never too late to do the right thing. Help us bring this situation to an end. For all of us, no matter where we’ve been and what we’ve done, I believe there is always a way home. Please make the right choice.
