Saxony-Anhalt Election: BSW Candidate Warns Germany is 'Inviting War'

Claudia Wittig, the leading candidate for the BSW party in the upcoming Saxony-Anhalt state election, has voiced strong criticism of Germany's involvement in the Ukraine conflict. In a debate with other leading candidates, Wittig argued that Germany is "actively inviting war into our home" by repurposing civilian infrastructure for military use and by increasing arms manufacturing within the state.

The BSW candidate also urged caution in interpreting security incidents, stating, "Not every drone incident is necessarily a Russian attack," in reference to a recent discovery of a drone laden with explosives at Leipzig-Halle Airport.
