Sayyid Badr holds a telephone call with Egyptian counterpart

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi engaged in a telephone conversation with Badr Abdelatty, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates of Egypt. The discussion centered on the latest regional developments and ongoing diplomatic initiatives aimed at de-escalating tensions.

The two ministers exchanged views on efforts to foster dialogue and create conditions for broader political understanding across the region. A significant portion of their conversation focused on the critical importance of maintaining the security and safety of international maritime routes.

Particular attention was given to ensuring the uninterrupted flow of trade and energy through vital waterways, including the strategic Strait of Hormuz. Both ministers underscored the necessity of continued coordination and consultation between Oman and Egypt.
