Schedules for all matches of matchday 3 of the 2026 Torneo Clausura

The 2026 Torneo Clausura is accelerating into its third round this weekend, with a packed schedule of matches across Groups A and B. Notable fixtures include Boca Juniors facing Newell's Old Boys and River Plate taking on Rosario Central, promising intense competition in the early stages of the season.

The league structure divides the 30 participating clubs into two zones of 15 teams each. All teams play each other within their group, supplemented by interzonal matches and designated rival pairings from the opposing group. After 16 rounds, the top eight teams from each zone will advance to the knockout stage, which consists of single-leg elimination matches leading to the champion, who secures a spot in the 2027 Copa Libertadores.

Points accumulated during the first stage of both the Apertura and Clausura tournaments will contribute to the overall league table and the relegation standings. The annual table determines qualification for continental competitions in 2027. Meanwhile, the team with the worst record in the average standings, calculated over the 2024, 2025, and 2026 seasons, will be relegated to the Primera Nacional.
