Scooter Rider Critically Injured in Head-On Collision in Dormagen

A 47-year-old scooter rider is in life-threatening condition following a head-on collision with a car in Dormagen, Germany. The accident occurred on Friday afternoon on Neusser Straße, a road connecting the Nievenheim and Allerheiligen districts.

According to police reports, a 67-year-old female driver inexplicably drove into oncoming traffic, resulting in the severe collision. Following the impact, the car veered off the road and came to rest in an embankment. The driver sustained minor injuries. Both individuals involved in the crash were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

Neusser Straße remained closed for several hours as police conducted their investigation and processed the scene. Traffic was diverted during this period.
