Search operation: Inflatable boat found without people on Lake Constance

Authorities launched an extensive search operation on Lake Constance following the discovery of an unattended inflatable boat. The search involved multiple boats and a police helicopter, covering a large area around the found vessel.

The blue and yellow inflatable boat, fitted with an electric outboard motor, was spotted around 2 p.m. on Thursday. It was located between the Konstanz Strandbad Horn and Meersburg, approximately one kilometer from the Konstanz shore. Police have not yet provided details regarding any indications that individuals had been on board the boat prior to its discovery.

Law enforcement is appealing to the public for assistance. Anyone who might have information that could help identify the boat's origin or previous occupants is urged to contact the Water Police Station in Konstanz.
