Seo Yeo-lim leads KLPGA Championship by three shots after third round

Seo Yeo-lim holds a solo lead at the BC Card-Hankyung 48th KLPGA Championship, the second major of the season, after a strong performance in the third round. The 20-year-old golfer posted a 3-under-par 69, with three birdies and no bogeys, to reach 10-under 206 for the tournament. This performance extends her lead from a share of the lead after the second round.

Seo, who was the Rookie of the Year last season after two runner-up finishes, has established herself as a dominant force on the KLPGA Tour this year. She has already secured three victories, including the Queens Masters, Inka Financial The Heaven Masters, and the Mediheal-Korea Daily Championship. Her current season's success places her at the top of the tour's points standings and average scoring, and tied for the lead in wins.

During the third round at Pocheon Hills Country Club, Seo made her first birdie on the par-5 3rd hole and added another on the par-4 5th. After a series of pars, she closed her round with a final birdie on the par-4 15th hole, solidifying her position at the top of the leaderboard. She will aim to maintain this momentum in the final round to capture her fourth title of the year.
