Seoul launches 'Summer SeoulCon' creator festival at DDP

The Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA) is launching '2026 Summer SeoulCon,' a new creator festival set to take place from July 22 to 25 at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul.

This event serves as a summer extension of the larger 'SeoulCon,' an international creator festival held annually in December. Summer SeoulCon is designed to amplify Seoul's lifestyle content on a global scale and build momentum leading up to the main event. The festival is being held in conjunction with 'Beautiful Life in Seoul.'

Kicking off the festival on July 22, a free public 'Summer SeoulCon Hip-Hop Party' will feature performances by DJs like CHANXER, DNOPF, and JAESEUNG, alongside live sets from artists Giriboy, Lil Boi, Giwon, and MAV. Complementing the music, attendees can explore a flea market involving 11 influencers and various food and beverage stalls.

From July 23 to 25, the DDP's Design Lab will host a series of influencer talk shows. The schedule includes '2026 SeoulCon-Lifestyle; Seoul' focusing on PR and networking on the 23rd, 'Meet the PDs Who Captivated 25 Million Subscribers' featuring key YouTube channel producers on the 24th, and 'Ask Creator x Miss Earth' on the 25th, centered on climate and environmental influencers.

Outstanding social media content created by participating influencers will be eligible for awards at the main SeoulCon in December. Detailed schedules are available on the official SeoulCon website and Instagram.
