Seoul's Hanyang Apartment Redevelopment Gains Key Approval

The redevelopment project for Hanyang Apartment, located in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, has achieved a significant milestone by receiving approval for its management disposition plan. The Yeongdeungpo District Office granted the official go-ahead on July 30, marking a crucial step forward for the urban renewal initiative.

This approval arrived roughly two months after the project submitted its application for the management disposition plan on May 29. The successful acquisition of this approval positions Hanyang Apartment as the second redevelopment complex in the Yeouido area to reach this stage, following in the footsteps of the Daekyo Apartment project.

Constructed in 1975, the Hanyang Apartment complex occupies a site of 36,363.3 square meters. The management disposition plan is a key phase in redevelopment projects, outlining details such as resident compensation, construction plans, and project financing, paving the way for the subsequent stages of demolition and new construction.
