Seoul to Host Matchmaking Event on Han River Cruise

Seoul is set to host a unique matchmaking event next month, offering 100 single residents a chance to find romance aboard a Han River cruise. The initiative, dubbed 'Seoul Ting 2.0: Excitement in Seoul, Han River Cruise Edition,' aims to connect unmarried individuals in a picturesque setting.

The event, scheduled for the 19th of next month, will take place on a special Han River cruise. It is open to 100 single men and women, aged 25 to 45, who are registered residents of Seoul and are currently employed or self-employed. Fifty participants of each gender will be selected through a random lottery.

Participants can look forward to a romantic evening featuring a sunset dinner with views of the Han River, followed by group discussions and personalized one-on-one dates. The program also includes couple's recreational activities, allowing attendees to bond while enjoying the scenic surroundings. Applications are being accepted from today until 5 p.m. on the 4th of next month, with successful candidates notified on the 11th. This event is a collaboration between the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Shinhan Card.
