Serbia awards contract for EXPO 2027 tickets to Security Printing House

The company EXPO 2027 has awarded a contract to the National Bank's Security Printing House for the production and printing of non-personalized tickets for the EXPO 2027 exhibition in Belgrade. The value of the contract is 38.2 million dinars, excluding value-added tax.

The agreement specifies the printing of one million single-day tickets, 200,000 three-day tickets, and 800,000 blank forms. These will be available for purchase at physical outlets and ticket offices.

Danilo Jerinić, director of EXPO 2027, stated that preparations for ticket sales are entering a crucial phase. He emphasized the goal of ensuring a smooth and organized process, meeting high standards. "We expect more than four million visits during the 93 days of the exhibition, which is why we are carefully preparing for every segment of the future visitor experience – from purchasing a ticket to arriving at EXPO 2027 and staying at the location itself," Jerinić said.

The tickets will feature advanced security elements, including watermarked protected paper, holographic foil, QR codes, perforations, numbering, and a UV-visible security feature. The specialized exhibition EXPO 2027 Belgrade will take place from May 15 to August 15, 2027, under the theme "Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All."
