Serbia to Launch 6,000 Dinar Aid Application Process on September 7

Finance Minister Siniša Mali announced that adult citizens of Serbia can begin applying for a 6,000 dinar financial aid payment on September 7. The application process will be managed through the Treasury Administration's website.

Mali explained in an Instagram video that individuals must first check their registration status in the Shareholding Fund. If already registered, they do not need to reapply, as the 6,000 dinars will be automatically deposited into their accounts via the fund. For those not registered, the application process is described as straightforward, requiring a valid ID card, Serbian residency, and citizenship.

If you are not registered in the Shareholding Fund, then you need to apply, and the application process is very simple. You need a valid ID card, residency in Serbia, to be an adult, and to be a citizen of Serbia.

Certain groups, specifically pensioners and recipients of social welfare benefits, will not need to apply. The state will automatically register them for the payment. This measure aims to provide financial assistance to a broad segment of the adult population.

The disbursement of the financial aid is scheduled to occur between September 22 and September 25. Payments will be processed through the Postanska Stedionica bank.
