Serbia Zijin Copper takes U.S. copper import ban seriously, conducting review

Serbia Zijin Copper has acknowledged the U.S. ban on its copper imports, citing suspicions of forced labor. The American Customs and Border Protection issued a detention order for copper products manufactured by the company, effective immediately.

In response, Zijin Copper stated that it takes the situation "seriously" and is conducting a "comprehensive review and assessment" of relevant issues. The company emphasized its commitment to respecting applicable laws, including those of the United States, and adhering to internationally recognized labor and human rights standards.
