Serbian border crossings see long waits for trucks and cars

Travelers heading towards Croatia are facing significant delays at the Batrovci border crossing, with trucks reportedly waiting for three hours. Passenger vehicles are also experiencing lengthy queues, with waits of up to an hour and a half, according to Serbia's public enterprise Putevi Srbije.

The delays are not confined to a single crossing. At Horgoš 2 and Horgoš towards Hungary, passenger cars are waiting one hour and 45 minutes, respectively. Gradina, on the entry from Bulgaria, sees passenger vehicles delayed by 50 minutes. Preševo, on the entry from North Macedonia, has a 45-minute wait for passenger cars, while the exit from Serbia takes 25 minutes.

Further south, Sremska Rača towards Bosnia-Herzegovina has a 30-minute wait for cars, and Gostun, entering from Montenegro, has a 20-minute wait. Putevi Srbije stated that other border crossings are not experiencing significant delays. These extended waiting times highlight potential congestion and operational challenges at key transit points.
