Serbian Geodetic Authority Processes Over 219,000 Cases in Property Rights Project

The Republic Geodetic Authority (RGZ) of Serbia has reported significant progress on the "Svoj na svome" project, having processed 219,358 cases. This initiative, launched to enhance transparency in the formalization and registration of property rights across the country, has seen the RGZ receive 239,679 confirmation requests for registration. The daily statistics for the project are now publicly available on the RGZ website, providing citizens with real-time updates on the number of confirmations processed by the Agency for Spatial Planning and Urbanism, the number of cases handled by the RGZ, and the number of cases returned to the Agency for review or correction.

At the initiative of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, the RGZ began publishing daily statistics to offer greater public insight into the project's implementation. This move aims to build trust and provide clear information to citizens regarding property rights. The published data includes the number of received and processed requests for the deletion of encumbrances after fee payment, further detailing the scope of work being undertaken.

To further facilitate public access and convenience, the RGZ has also launched a mobile application titled "Status potvrde u RGZ – Svoj na svome." Through this application, citizens can check the current stage of their case by simply entering their application number. This digital service allows individuals to monitor their property registration process from anywhere, eliminating the need to visit an RGZ office in person. The "Svoj na svome" project is described as a key initiative for formalizing and registering property rights throughout Europe.
