Serbian students win gold and bronze at international cybersecurity olympiad

Serbia's national team achieved significant success at the International Cybersecurity Olympiad, securing one gold and one bronze medal. The prestigious event, held in Tunisia, brought together high school students from across the globe, excluding Australia.

Jovan Jovanović, a student at the Technical School in Čačak, clinched the gold medal for Serbia. His teammate, Igor Popović, also from the Technical School in Čačak, earned the bronze medal. The Serbian delegation also included Vladan Pavićević from the "Veljko Petrović" Gymnasium in Sombor and Lazar Aleksić from the "Bora Stanković" Gymnasium in Vranje. Dimitrije Erdeljan, a member of the commission for high school informatics competitions, led the team.

This achievement highlights the growing talent and dedication of Serbian students in the field of cybersecurity. The competition serves as a platform for young minds to showcase their skills and foster innovation in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
