Seven injured, including children, in three-car crash on German autobahn

Seven people, including two children, were injured in a three-car collision on the A43 autobahn near Bochum, Germany.

The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon in the direction of Münster, shortly before the intersection with the A40. Upon arrival, emergency services found several injured individuals on the roadway. Two people suffered severe injuries, while the two children involved sustained minor wounds. All seven injured individuals were transported to hospitals for treatment.

Firefighters secured the accident scene, managed leaking fluids, and deactivated an electric vehicle. A total of 35 emergency responders from professional and volunteer fire departments were on site. The autobahn was temporarily closed at the accident location while the scene was processed and cleared.

Police are currently investigating the cause of the accident. The incident highlights the dangers of road travel and the importance of emergency response preparedness.
