Severina explores anxiety and jealousy in new song 'Pozovi me ti'

Croatian pop star Severina has unveiled her second song, 'Pozovi me ti' ('Anxious'), from an anticipated musical trilogy. This new track delves into complex emotions like jealousy, helplessness, anger, and irony, portraying a woman's internal struggle as she witnesses a former partner move on.

Following the success of her first song, 'Nisam kriva ja' ('Unfeeling'), which garnered millions of views, 'Pozovi me ti' ('Anxious') explores a different emotional landscape. While the first song focused on emotional detachment after disappointment, the new release plunges into raw feelings and psychological conflict. The lyric "Anksiozna sam…" (I am anxious…) serves as a powerful emotional anchor, resonating with many.

The song's creative team, including composer Bojan Vasić and lyricist Danijel Pavlović, also contributed to the first track. The music video, directed by Petar Pašić, continues the trilogy's distinct visual identity, characterized by a cinematic style rich in symbolism. This project emphasizes a cohesive musical and visual narrative rather than separate singles, with each chapter revealing new emotions and perspectives.

The trilogy aims to explore three distinct emotions and three powerful stories about love, loss, and self-discovery. It culminates in the song 'Svirajte mi 'Rađaj sinove'' ('Perfect'), which will be performed live after Severina's sold-out concert in Pula Arena this Saturday. This final piece is expected to complete the story of 'three women in one woman' or, perhaps, 'three faces of love' that many have experienced.
