SH Opens Applications for 3,421 Redevelopment Rental Units, Occupancy Set for Feb 2027

Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH) is opening applications for 3,421 rental housing units located in redeveloped areas, with occupancy slated for February 2027. This significant supply of housing aims to address demand in the city's evolving urban landscape.

The available units include 1,528 units from vacant properties due to tenant departures or contract cancellations, alongside 1,893 units designated for prospective residents. The application process prioritizes individuals displaced by redevelopment construction, ensuring they have first access to the new housing.

Following the priority allocation, any remaining vacant units will be made available to the general public. The housing offered consists primarily of units smaller than 39 square meters in size, catering to individuals and small families. This initiative is part of SH Corporation's ongoing efforts to provide affordable housing through redevelopment projects.
