This Spanish version follows Shakira's energetic performance of the song during the World Cup's opening ceremony, which took place on June 11 at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. The artist shared a video of herself singing the Spanish lyrics on her social media channels, highlighting lines like "In the 11 against 11, each one in their role, no one is playing when they give their all."

Shakira's connection to World Cup anthems is well-established. In 2010, her song 'Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)' became one of the most iconic themes in the tournament's history.
