Sheinbaum delivers "Women's Well-being Pension" in Naucalpan, vows "government for the people"

Naucalpan de Juárez, State of Mexico., Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo asserted that her administration is dedicated to the population's well-being, emphasizing a governing philosophy of "by the people, for the people," a departure from previous administrations.

During the distribution of the "Pensión Mujeres Bienestar" (Women's Well-being Pension) at the IMSS Cuauhtémoc Sports Unit, Sheinbaum stated that the "Fourth Transformation" aims to dismantle policies that previously benefited only a select few. "In the past, they governed for a few. Now, proudly, we are governments of the people, by the people, and for the people of Mexico. And we will continue working for the people," she declared.

The president also committed to incorporating Naucalpan into a federal pothole repair program, responding to a request from Mayor Isaac Montoya. She noted that while a program for 10 eastern municipalities was established, Naucalpan would now also be included. Additionally, she highlighted the ongoing construction of the Mexicable in the municipality, assuring continued coordination with local authorities.

Sheinbaum underscored the significance of the "Pensión Mujeres Bienestar" as a recognition of women's lifelong contributions, both domestically and professionally. "Let them never underestimate us. Women are people and have rights like everyone else in our country," she stated, linking women's rights to freedom, democracy, and the transformation of public life.

The president also mentioned her government's efforts to ensure all municipalities have at least one "Centro Libre" offering comprehensive care for women. The implementation of the "Tejedoras de la Patria" network and legal support services, accessible via line 079, were also highlighted.
