Shindong-A Engineering & Construction wins first project post-receivership

Shindong-A Engineering & Construction has won its first urban regeneration project since completing its corporate rehabilitation process. The company announced on June 2 that it has been selected as the constructor for a "Garo-ju택" (small-scale block housing) project in Bisan-dong, Anyang City, Gyeonggi Province.

This contract is not only the company's first urban regeneration project win of the year but also its first since successfully exiting corporate rehabilitation proceedings in October of the previous year. The project in Bisan-dong involves the construction of two apartment buildings with 124 units, along with commercial facilities and other amenities on the site located at 557-7 Bisan-dong.

The successful bid signifies a crucial milestone for Shindong-A Engineering & Construction, demonstrating its renewed capacity and market confidence following its financial restructuring. The company aims to leverage this project to re-establish its presence in the competitive construction sector.
