Shooting at Houston Kroger Leaves Two Men Critically Injured

A shooting inside a Kroger supermarket in Cypress, Texas, left two men in critical condition Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 2:50 p.m. at the store located on Cypresswood Drive, according to Harris County Precinct 4 deputies.

Deputies responded to the scene and apprehended a suspect, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the neck. Both the suspect and a second man, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, were airlifted to area hospitals. Authorities reviewed security footage and confirmed no other individuals were involved or at large.

Preliminary information suggests the shooting stemmed from a dispute between the two men, though their relationship and the exact motive remain under investigation. Officials stated that the investigation into the circumstances is ongoing and appropriate charges will be filed. The victim shot by the suspect is in serious condition.
