Shopee Singapore has launched its "Buy Today, Get Today" service, offering customers free same-day delivery without any minimum spending requirement. This enhancement to its Fulfilled by Shopee (FBS) service aims to meet the growing consumer demand for speed and convenience in online shopping.

Automation plays a key role in the new service, with technologies like autonomous mobile robots and intelligent order routing helping to shorten fulfillment times. This allows shoppers across Singapore to receive their purchases faster, whether they need household essentials, a last-minute gift, or a power bank for a trip.

A 2025 study by Milieu Insight indicated that a significant majority of Singaporean buyers, three in four, prefer online sellers that provide fast, reliable, and affordable or free shipping. Meeting these expectations presents a challenge for sellers, especially smaller businesses, who must manage inventory, packing, and delivery logistics.

Shopee's FBS is an integrated fulfillment service designed to simplify these processes for sellers. It handles inventory storage, picking, packing, and delivery. The "Buy Today, Get Today" option further enhances FBS by making same-day delivery more accessible, with free shipping vouchers applicable to eligible orders placed before noon each day, running from Monday to Sunday, excluding public holidays.

Kinohimitsu, a Singapore-founded wellness brand, has seen tangible benefits from using FBS. Mr. Kawee Chong, CEO of Kino Biotech, reported that the service reduced their average order fulfillment time by over 40%, from approximately 20 hours to under 12 hours. This improvement has boosted operational efficiency, lessened the need for overtime during peak periods, and allowed more customers to benefit from same-day delivery.
