Šibenik orders removal of toilets placed near anti-fascist monument

The city of Šibenik has ordered the removal of mobile toilets placed in Šubićevac Memorial Park before a concert by controversial singer Marko Perković Thompson. The decision came after significant public backlash over the toilets' proximity to a monument honoring Rade Končar and other anti-fascists executed at the site in 1942.

The toilets were intended for concert attendees but were situated near the memorial dedicated to Končar, a national hero, and his comrades. The placement sparked sharp reactions from various groups, including the Fališ cultural festival organization, known for its left-leaning orientation.
