Šibenik prepares for Thompson concert: Police issue important instructions for arrival and parking

Šibenik is gearing up for a major concert by Croatian artist Marko Perković Thompson, with organizers expecting a crowd of approximately 27,000 people. The event is anticipated to draw significant attention, with a substantial portion of attendees, around 21,000, traveling from various parts of Croatia and from abroad.

Due to the expected large number of visitors and the potential for significant traffic jams, the Šibenik police department has begun implementing traffic control measures from the early morning hours. They have established traffic checkpoints and are actively providing instructions to concertgoers regarding the best ways to arrive at the venue and where to park their vehicles.

The police aim to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and the safety of all attendees. The measures are designed to mitigate the impact of the influx of thousands of vehicles and people converging on the city for the concert. Specific guidance on routes and parking areas is being disseminated to help manage the expected crowds effectively.
