Simbu becomes the 10th province to join the National Youth Engagement Strategy

Simbu Province has become the tenth province in Papua New Guinea to formally endorse the National Youth Engagement Strategy (NYES) 2025–2029. This significant milestone for the National Youth Development Authority (NYDA) signals a strengthened commitment to addressing the needs of young people across the country.

The NYES is designed to establish a cohesive national framework for engaging with youth who are not in formal education. By bringing provinces on board, the NYDA aims to ensure a unified approach to youth development, offering opportunities and support to a demographic often facing significant challenges.
