'Since when is abusing a crime?': What CJP said on FIR over girl's remarks against PM Modi

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has strongly criticized the registration of an FIR against a woman in Noida for allegedly using abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a protest. CJP spokesperson Saurav Das argued that while abusive language is condemnable, it should not be treated as a criminal offense.

Das alleged that such FIRs are filed to 'single out' individuals and 'make an example of them.' He questioned the use of criminal justice machinery for speech that does not incite violence. This is utterly condemnable. I once again appeal to the government and its police machinery to stop harassing the youth. Stop targeting young people in this way, and leave this girl alone.

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke echoed these concerns, questioning the selective application of law. He asked why similar action was not taken against BJP leaders and IT cell members who have allegedly used objectionable language against women online for years. Dipke highlighted that many such social media users openly identify with the BJP and have been followed by the Prime Minister himself, yet face no legal repercussions for their language.
