Singer and actor Lee Ji-hoon has issued a lengthy apology following a "salt-free parenting controversy" that erupted from a social media post by his wife, Ayane.

Ayane explained that Ruhee, who is raised "salt-free" and only eats rice crackers, had been given candy, which she felt was inappropriate given their strict parenting approach.
