Singer On-yu sends 'world's largest cheering letter' to Gwanghwamun

A massive 'cheering letter' filled with singer On-yu's warm message has arrived in the heart of Gwanghwamun, Seoul. Dong-A Ilbo and Dong-A.com, in collaboration with LG Uplus, have launched a participatory campaign to transform Gwanghwamun into a space for communication and healing. This initiative, which began on the 6th and will continue for three months, connects LG Uplus's AI-based participatory service 'Simple Mailbox' with 'LUUX,' the largest digital signage in Korea installed on the Dong-A Ilbo building's exterior wall. The campaign focuses on today's daily lives, where digital connections are increasing, but moments of genuine mutual encouragement are diminishing. On-yu, resonating with this theme, conveyed a message of small, sincere comfort for everyday life. "There are times when a single word of support can be the strength to get through a day," On-yu said. "I hope you don't forget that there are people cheering for you. I sincerely support you today and tomorrow." Messages of support are displayed three times daily on the Gwanghwamun digital screen for citizens.
