Singer Park Kyu-ri shared her health struggles on the TV Chosun program 'Healthy House 2,' revealing she experienced a brain hemorrhage in her 30s and was later diagnosed with serrated adenoma, a condition considered a precursor to colon cancer. The revelation came as she discussed the importance of health management, noting that she has found intestinal abnormalities during her annual check-ups and shared her current wellness practices.

Appearing on the show with her mother, Lee Myung-ja, Park discussed her journey toward regaining health and shared family stories. "I'm already in my late 40s, an age where I worry about menopause. My daughter is already twenty-two," Park said, updating viewers on her life before performing her new song 'Bap Taryeong.' Her mother recalled the frightening period when Park, then working as a public servant for the Seoul Metropolitan Gugak Center, suddenly experienced vision loss and severe symptoms. "I thought she was going to die; it felt like the sky was falling," Lee Myung-ja recounted.

Park vividly described the experience: "It felt like lightning struck inside my head, with severe headaches and blurred vision." She added, "I was told that if treatment had been delayed even slightly, I could have been left with serious after-effects or faced a life-threatening situation, which was overwhelming." Despite overcoming the brain hemorrhage, her health concerns persisted. "I get a health check-up every year, and polyps kept being found in my intestines," Park confessed. "Two years ago, I was shocked to discover 'serrated adenoma,' which is a pre-cancerous condition for colon cancer."

Adding to her health worries, Park mentioned a family history of diabetes on both her paternal and maternal sides. "My mother and I are told we are in the pre-diabetic stage during our check-ups, which is a great concern," she said. Medical experts on the show explained that weakened intestinal health can increase the risk of diabetes and abdominal obesity. Consequently, Park and her mother have made significant dietary changes. Their daily routine now includes intestinal massages and consuming raw foods before meals. Park reported, "Since starting raw food, my indigestion and constipation have greatly improved, and I've lost some body fat. I've even lost about 2 kilograms. I plan to continue managing my health diligently."
