Singer's mistake mars Mexican anthem at MLS All-Star Game

During the pre-match ceremony for the MLS All-Star Game, Mexican singer Frankie J committed a significant error while performing the Mexican national anthem. Instead of reciting the line "mas si osare un extraño enemigo, profanar con su planta tu suelo" (which translates to "but if a foreign enemy dares to profane your soil with their foot"), J sang "mas si osare un extraño enemigo, profanar con su ansia tu suelo" (substituting "anxiety" for "foot").

This lyrical alteration, which occurred at Bank of America Stadium, the home of the Carolina Panthers, did not go unnoticed by the Mexican fans present. The singer appeared visibly nervous throughout the performance, and his mistake quickly became a point of discussion and criticism among attendees.

The MLS All-Star Game, which featured players from Major League Soccer against Liga MX, is held annually in the United States. This year marked the fifth time the event took place on U.S. soil, with the MLS team having secured three previous victories in the series.
