Sisi receives call from Bahrain's king expressing solidarity with Egypt after earthquake

During the call, King Hamad conveyed Bahrain's sincere wishes for Egypt following the tremor, emphasizing the Kingdom's solidarity and support. President el-Sisi expressed his gratitude for the kind and noble sentiments towards Egypt and its people. He highlighted the strong fraternal relations between Egypt and Bahrain, noting their shared vision on regional issues and their joint efforts to restore peace and stability in the region. President el-Sisi also reiterated Egypt's commitment to supporting Bahrain and condemned Iran's actions against the Kingdom's sovereignty.

King Hamad, in turn, highly appreciated Egypt's steadfast stance in supporting Bahrain and its solidarity with Gulf Cooperation Council countries facing regional military operations. He stressed Bahrain's commitment to achieving peace and a sustainable political settlement that preserves the sovereignty and interests of Arab nations. The Bahraini King also acknowledged Egypt's pivotal role both regionally and internationally.

The two leaders reviewed the progress of bilateral relations, confirming their commitment to enhancing cooperation. They plan to implement outcomes from the Bahraini Crown Prince's visit to Egypt in September 2025 and activate initiatives from the second session of the Egyptian-Bahraini Joint Committee on economic, trade, scientific, and technological cooperation held in Manama in February 2025. President el-Sisi also praised the care provided to the Egyptian community in Bahrain, recognizing their contributions to the Kingdom's development.
