Sixth round of jiu-jitsu event to be held in Dubai

Dubai is set to host the sixth round of the Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship this weekend, August 29-30. The Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex will serve as the venue for this highly anticipated event, drawing athletes from various divisions.

The championship's No-Gi format will showcase talent across age groups, starting with Under-12, Under-14, and Under-16 athletes on Saturday. The competition continues on Sunday with the Under-18, Adults, and Masters categories taking to the mats.

As the final No-Gi round of the season, this event holds significant weight in the ongoing title race. Clubs and academies have a crucial opportunity to accumulate more points and improve their standings before the final No-Gi rankings are determined. The competitive atmosphere is expected to be intense as teams vie for supremacy.

In the previous No-Gi round held in Fujairah, Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club secured the top position, followed by Palms Sports – Team 777 and M.O.D Academy. These leading clubs are poised to renew their rivalry in Dubai, adding another layer of excitement to the championship.
