SK ecoplant's Q2 Operating Profit Soars 266% to $410 Million on AI Infrastructure Growth

SK ecoplant announced a significant surge in its second-quarter financial performance, posting an operating profit of 533.6 billion won. This figure represents a substantial 266% increase compared to the same period last year. The company's revenue also saw a robust climb, growing by 68% to reach 5.15 trillion won.

SK ecoplant attributed this remarkable growth to strategic expansions in artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure projects. Additionally, the strong performance of its subsidiaries contributed significantly to the improved financial results. For the first half of the year, the company's cumulative revenue reached 10.05 trillion won, with an operating profit of 1 trillion won.
