Slovak Cities Demand Greater Powers in Climate Change Adaptation Measures

Slovak cities are making a clear and urgent call for enhanced competencies and a true partnership with the state in confronting the realities of climate change. The Union of Cities of Slovakia (ÚMS) rightly points out that the national strategy for climate change adaptation, while a step in the right direction, must translate into tangible, actionable measures at the local level.
