Slow Travel Chiayi Launches Facebook and LINE Stamp Rally, With Exclusive Tsou Gifts for First 300 Participants

Chiayi County is using a simple stamp-collecting campaign to draw visitors to Alishan and Tsou tribal communities during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday period. The “Tsou Travel Season” promotion, organized by the Slow Travel Chiayi team, links Facebook with the official LINE account and promises gifts to the first 300 qualifying participants.

Visitors can take part by visiting any participating attraction between September 1 and September 28 and completing the official LINE stamp collection. There is no restriction on the attraction zones, and participants do not need to enter a lottery. Those who qualify will receive an exclusive “COU Tsou Huo Jia” item, either a three-dimensional wooden magnet or a key ring, selected at random.

The process requires participants to check in and collect stamps, then comment under the designated post on the Slow Travel Chiayi Facebook page with a screenshot showing completion of the LINE stamps. They must also send the page a private message containing their LINE name and profile picture. Organizers will review entries in the order they are posted and reply “Winner” to the first 300 people who meet the conditions before requesting delivery details.

The county government warned that the promotion relies on in-person visits. Participants must personally visit the attractions to record their locations, and the use of third-party programs or altered location data is prohibited. Winners must provide shipping information by October 7 and must not block the official LINE account, or they could lose eligibility to receive the gift.
