SMEG and Porsche Launch Dream Collectible: 917 Legend Livery Adorns Retro Refrigerator

Italian design appliance brand SMEG has partnered with Porsche to release a new collection of limited-edition home goods. The "917 Salzburg" series pays homage to Porsche's first overall victory at the 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans race. The design draws from the No. 23 Porsche 917 KH Salzburg that won the race, incorporating Salzburg red, the No. 23 racing graphic, and white "Porsche" lettering onto SMEG's classic FAB28 retro refrigerator and BCC12 fully automatic coffee machine.

The FAB28 refrigerator in this series is priced at NT$260,000, with only four units allocated for Taiwan. The BCC12 coffee machine costs NT$98,000, with ten units available in Taiwan. Globally, only 1,970 units of each item were produced to commemorate the 1970 victory, each featuring a limited-edition numbered metal plate.

Additionally, the collaboration includes a "Racing Stripe" series, featuring FAB28 refrigerators, toasters, and electric kettles. These appliances come in classic Porsche colors like "Carrara White" and "Shade Green," accented with black racing stripes and "Porsche" lettering running through the body, aiming to bring a sense of speed and sleek style into the home.

The SMEG Taiwan general agent, Pin Yan Industrial, is handling sales for these limited-edition items, which are available while supplies last. The "Racing Stripe" FAB28 refrigerator in "Shade Green" is priced at NT$220,000, and the "Carrara White" toaster is NT$22,000.
