Varacalli's family announced her passing through an Instagram story, expressing their profound sorrow. "With deep pain, we want to inform you of the passing of Solcito. We want to thank you with all our hearts for every bit of support during this time; you gave her hope for life," the message read, acknowledging the widespread support she received throughout her illness.

The young woman, originally from Ramos Mejía, had launched a crowdfunding campaign to finance a high-complexity radioembolization treatment. The melanoma had spread to her liver, and the specialized imported medication required for the procedure cost approximately 55 million pesos, a sum far beyond her family's reach.
