Son Heung-min continued his scoring streak in Major League Soccer, netting his fourth goal in as many games for Los Angeles FC. However, his team had to settle for a 1-1 draw against the Vancouver Whitecaps.

The match, held at BC Place in Vancouver, saw Son open the scoring in the 37th minute with a sharp right-footed turn and shot after capitalizing on a defensive error. This goal marked his fourth in MLS this season and extended his scoring run to four consecutive matches, or five if including his multi-goal performance in the MLS All-Star Game.

Despite Son's individual success, LAFC could not secure a victory. Vancouver equalized in the 76th minute when Thomas Müller converted a penalty kick after being fouled in the box. The draw means Vancouver retains its lead in the Western Conference, with LAFC remaining in second place on identical points, though their positions could shift based on other results.

While LAFC's unbeaten streak continues, the team failed to build on their recent three-game winning run. Son, who had a quiet start to his MLS campaign, has found his scoring touch since the World Cup, now boasting 4 goals and 10 assists in MLS, and 6 goals and 17 assists across all competitions this season.
