Selim İmamoğlu, the son of Istanbul's elected Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, has refuted claims circulating on social media regarding a luxury yacht vacation.

Photos of a yacht, reportedly belonging to İmamoğlu, surfaced online showing the Marshall Islands flag, often associated with tax advantages and relaxed oversight. These images quickly spread, fueling speculation.

Responding via his social media account, Selim İmamoğlu addressed the allegations. He explained that he had visited his father in Silivri that morning, noting his father's strong morale and resilience. Following the visit, he returned to his laboratory at Istanbul Technical University (ITU), where he is pursuing a master's degree in physics.
