SONEDE launches project to secure water supply in Mornaguia

The National Water Exploitation and Distribution Company (SONEDE) has initiated a significant project to bolster the water supply in multiple neighborhoods within the Mornaguia delegation, according to the company's regional directorate in Manouba.

The initiative involves connecting the water distribution networks of El Ghadhaounia, El Fejja, Hay Bourguiba, Et Tahouna, Hay Ettoumia, El Ghdhaounia, and Bou Hamed to the primary pipelines of the Ghdir El Golla hydraulic complex. This measure aims to resolve recurring disruptions in water provision and strengthen the hydraulic infrastructure.

By increasing the network's capacity, SONEDE expects to better meet demand and reduce service interruptions, particularly during periods of high consumption. This project is crucial for ensuring a more reliable water supply to residents.

In parallel, seven specialized maintenance teams are actively engaged in daily repairs of distribution and supply line failures. These teams also undertake special works to enhance water delivery, especially in areas experiencing insufficient flow during peak hours. The company's commitment to continuous operation, 24/7, ensures rapid service restoration, necessary repairs, and preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and guarantee network reliability, especially ahead of the summer season's increased demand.
