Song Title Comes True: Chen Yuxiang's Concert Hit by Downpour, Fans Wait an Hour

Singer Chen Yuxiang's "Metro Flash Music Tour" faced unexpected weather challenges, but ultimately created cherished memories for both the artist and his fans. The tour, celebrating his hit song "Always Down," was initially planned for 12 stops over two weekends. However, only 10 were completed due to adverse weather conditions.

During the July 19th event, as the tour moved from Taipei Bridge Station to Xuhui Plaza, the sky darkened, and a sudden downpour, accompanied by thunder and strong winds, began. Attendees humorously noted the irony of the storm hitting during the performance of a song titled "Always Down."

Despite the deluge, fans demonstrated remarkable dedication. They remained at the venue, sheltering under umbrellas and wearing raincoats, waiting patiently for over an hour. Seeing their perseverance and not wanting them to endure the rain any longer, Chen Yuxiang decided to relocate the performance to a covered area. He personally approached each fan to express his gratitude, shake hands, take photos, and then gathered everyone in a circle for a close-up sing-along of "Always Down" and "Leaving the Rainy Season."

As the fans reluctantly parted ways, the heavy rain that had persisted for over an hour began to subside. The sky cleared, and a rainbow appeared, marking a memorable moment in the tour. Chen Yuxiang later compiled this experience into a short video for Instagram, calling it a lifelong memory. He emphasized that these moments with his fans, who braved the rain to sing with him, were more precious than any chart success.

Chen Yuxiang has been actively pursuing his music career and also working as a video director. He recently challenged himself to post a short video daily for 100 consecutive days, sharing his creative process, life, and work to connect with his audience authentically. He is scheduled to hold a fan meeting with KKBOX on August 15th.
